A new industrial estate tailored for technology investment
UBD initiated the Ubon Ratchathani Industrial Estate Project in 2018, and it officially became a joint venture with the Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand (IEAT) in 2024. Currently, it is the second industrial estate in the Northeastern region of Thailand, covering an area of 1,748 rai (approx. 278 hectares), adjacent to Highway No. 24 in Det Udom District, Ubon Ratchathani Province.
Ubon Ratchathani is located at the easternmost border of Thailand and benefits from a transportation network that connects to the Greater Mekong Subregion (GMS) countries: Lao PDR, Cambodia, Vietnam, and China. It is also considered a strategic economic area due to its central location within ASEAN.
Additionally, Ubon Ratchathani Province receives investment promotion incentives from the Board of Investment (BOI) to encourage regional development. As a result, businesses are eligible for corporate income tax exemptions for up to 13 years.

- To develop the first industrial estate in Southern Isan that focuses on building business partnerships for estate operators and all stakeholders.
- To position Ubon Ratchathani Industrial Estate as a key economic and logistics hub in the Isan region, the Emerald Triangle, and border areas with neighboring countries.
- To build a modern industrial estate that emphasizes the use of technology and digital management systems, serving as a model Smart Industrial Estate.
- To promote the well-being of employees, social conditions, and the environment alongside the sustainable distribution of economic value to society.
