On July 9, 2024, Ubonratchathani Development Co., Ltd. (UBD) and Marubeni Green Power Asset (Thailand) Co., Ltd. signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to establish a business partnership for the development and provision of clean energy to the Ubonratchathani Industrial Estate.
The signing ceremony was honored by the presence of Mr. Akio Uchida, President & CEO of Marubeni Green Power Asset (Thailand), and Mr. Natawatana Lerdsurawitaya, Deputy CEO of UBD. Both parties signed the MOU to jointly develop clean energy projects such as floating solar on reservoir areas, rooftop solar, and EV fleet solutions and charging stations, including to provide various renewable energy solutions to meet the increasing demand for clean energy in the industrial sector.
This MOU marks a significant step in fostering collaboration between UBD and Marubeni to develop and deliver efficient and sustainable clean energy solutions to the industrial sector in the Ubonratchathani Industrial Estate. This initiative will promote the use of clean energy and reduce long-term environmental impacts.
Both companies are committed to jointly developing high-quality clean energy projects that fully meet the needs of the industrial sector in the Ubonratchathani Industrial Estate, aiming to create a sustainable and environmentally friendly future.
The signing of this MOU reaffirms the strong cooperation between UBD and Marubeni in developing and providing efficient and sustainable clean energy solutions to the industrial sector in the Ubonratchathani Industrial Estate.
